Re: Saturn L300 wont crank/start after driving...

There's confusion when using the word crank and start. Crank or start can mean zero sounds, no starter. No cranking can mean the same. No starting can mean zero starter sounds or the engine turns...

Re: 2007 Saturn Vue 3.5L V6, AWD Dipstick

In theory, a 3.5L is the same engine if used in several models. GMs 2.2L 4cyl is used in several GM models so its presumed the basic engine has the same parts for every GM model. Check rockauto...

Re: AC system rebuild flunk

In perspective with diy repairs, if you assumed replacing the compressor with a used one with similar amounts of pag oil remaining in both, there may be less oil in the system from using new parts....

*Which is easier to replace, compressor or txv? One of these two are faulty.
*Did you refill with correct pag oil amount?
*Tried removing refrigerant to see if low side drops down?

After...

Re: L200 2002 won't stay on running

A key to GMs Passlock security and whether its working or not is the yellow car with oversize padlock indicator. Seeing it turn on then off with all the other instrument panel lights/indicators when...

In the interests of accuracy, below are copies from GMs online owners manuals. This one came from the '04 L-series owner's manual.

Re: Power loss under load at speed. 0401 code after new EGR.

EGR function is measured by the upstream O2 sensor. When exhaust gas recirculation is metered during normal acceleration, the O2 sensor can detect exhaust gases relative to combustion gases since the...

Re: L200 2002 won't stay on running

Unfortunately, you may be describing another repair shop that simply replaces parts on your dime, hoping to hit the right solution while making money whether or not a solution is found. Sorry, but...

Re: L200 vs Ion, Which is better?

I like pierrot's comparison analysis of the same engine used in the Ion, Vue, and many other GM models (2.2L ecotec engine).

One (possibly) troubling point with Ions is their recalled ignition...

Re: Stalling Issue

Try a fuel pressure check since you have no record of fuel filter replacement and do not know if there's a fuel pump issue. Guessing can become costly in several ways.

The 2.2L engines are known...

Re: need wiring help

If no one can offer wiring info, you can still make educated guesses.

The crank sensor is the most important sensor - it generates precise timing signals to the ecm/pcm. No crank sensor timing...

Re: 2001 Saturn L300 - v6 3.0 Liter - Timing Belt Kit + Camshaft + Crankshaft Seals

Tried spraying starting fluid into throttle then starting? Seeing fuel pressure doesn't tell you if injectors are...
