Not that big of a job. Just make sure to support the engine with a jack before taking the mount off.

Re: strut mount noise?

I would. I replaced my original mounts at 80k with new Delco's when i replaced my shocks and struts. I'm kicking myself for not re-using them. The 'new" mounts started make noise after a month. Now i...

Re: Low Coolant Light Is On... But I'm Full

Whole tank needs to be swapped. It'll run you about $40-$50 for replacement tank with sensor.

Re: Ball joints

Re: Delay when put in drive

My Vue has been doing the same thing since day one. Word around the Honda boards indicate that it's totally normal. Don't know how many miles on the Vue, but do a ATF drain and fill just for piece of...

Re: Weird brake issue, no fluid to caliper. Looking for advice

Sounds like your brake line might have collapsed. It's a know issue. Do a search and you'll have multiple reports of others having the same issue.

Re: Cross threaded oil drain plug

Sounds like attaching a Fumoto valve permanently might be a good solution to your problem.

Re: 2005 Saturn Vue Redline - Issues/Diagnose

Since you have a Red Line, you want to stay clear of the quick strut assemblies unless you want it to ride higher. The springs on those are for the standard model Vues. The RL came with performance...

Re: 2005 Saturn Vue Redline - Issues/Diagnose

The endlinks aren't very difficult to replace. Here's a youtube video to help you if you decide to do the job yourself. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-SP9e9cSgGA

Re: 2005 Saturn Vue Redline - Issues/Diagnose

Still take a good look at the endlinks. We already know that's a common issue with these cars. Cost to replace them isnt much.

I would then move over to the strut mounts if the issues continues...

Re: Just when you thought all suspension noises were covered..

I have a Redline so I didn't have the option to use a loaded strut since no one makes them with the correct spring size so we just replaced the strut tubes and reused the springs. The ACDelco strut...
