Other differences are, Gauges on 04 are much nicer as is the steering wheel and shifter. Also you get 17" wheels not available on 03 along with painted door handles and a few other minor things.

100,000 Milestone!

Rolled 100,000 miles on my 2004 V6 VUE yesterday, still runs like day one. I have had no problems with this VUE just normal maintenance.

It seems to be a common thing with the Honda Transmission, I had the same problem and changed the fluid to Amsoil and the problem went away.

UPDATE!! My noise is now gone! I found the noise was coming from under the hood where the top of the strut mounts, there are little slots around the bolt and I sprayed some white...

Transmission... common issue, have you ever changed the trans fluid? When I changed my fluid to Amsoil the problem disappeared, that was about 15k miles ago.

Don't mean to be a pain, but everyone keeps calling it that and its not.


The Vue is also unique within GM for its all-wheel-drive system. The system is less complex than the company's Versatrak....
