Thanks! but the reason I'm ordering the complete ICM + Coils unit is because I already replaced the coils with 2 eBay cheapo non-OEM coils but I'm still getting P0300 random mis-fire code. Hopefully...

Replaced both CoilPacks ok. The bolts were clean and shiny on the inside...

Engine running a little smoother, but still rough and still getting flashing P0300 code.

I'll clean the plugs once...

Yeah I checked and it looks like 8mm sockets...

My 3/8" drive set is to thick and bulky to get in between the pins.

Looks like I might have to replace one or both coil packs on my '97 SW1.

Problem is, none of my wrenches or sockets are thin enough or the right size to get at the bolts that are holding them...

I had a look underneath and It's an aftermarket combo Flex-pipe & Cat. It looks like it could really badly rusted through in lot's of places. I did only spot one smokey leak by the manifold flange...

The replacement timing cover from the JY appears mechanically sound but it is very dirty, greasy, has multiple white corrosion marks on the outside, and hardened black oil "varnish" on the inside....

Found a leak in the gasket where the exhaust manifold meets the flex pipe. Looks like something the previous owner had done. It looks like a half-assed home-made gasket. No wonder it finally leaked....
