Re: What the !%&*@ is going on here?

I'm just waiting for Cash for Clunkers 2: Electric Boogaloo to be enacted to try and kickstart near-moribund new car sales at the expense of perfectly functioning used cars.

Re: Need New Alternatior Or . . . ?

Figures that the one time I share advice I'd gotten from fdryer and not attribute it to him, he shows up to give better advice!

Re: Need New Alternatior Or . . . ?

I second the cleaning of battery cables (with a paste of baking soda and water), and check your ground connections for those too. In my case, I replaced the battery cables and had to hook up one of...

Re: What did you do to your S-Series today...

On Thursday, I got a set of General Evertrek 195/60R15 all-seasons mounted on the rims I got last summer from a former Saturnfans poster who is now into Hondas and Mercury Marauders. Why have fifteen...

Re: And the rate of return is.......

Re: Things an S series doesn't need

Re: Post Your Latest Oil & Filter Change.

So since that last post, I've changed my oil twice. First at 258079 km (160362 miles), Mobil-1 5w30 synthetic with a Mobil M1-209 extended filter, topping it up with Castrol Edge 5w30 synthetic and...

Re: What did you do to your S-Series today...

Once again, Saturnfans has come through with knowledge!

I loosened then re-tightened my front LCA's and I have significantly cut down on the popping noises I was hearing before. Now to do the...

Re: Rear suspension bolts

This bears repeating.

The temptation to go crazy-go-nuts with an impact wrench right away is strong, but PB Blaster and manually wrestling them by tightening and loosening can yield suprising...

Re: What did you do to your S-Series today...

Cleaned the EGR and performed an MMO soak a couple of days ago, and put the plugs back in today. There was leftover MMO in cylinder #1, but not in the others.

When I put the plugs back in and...

Re: What did you do to your S-Series today...

You aren't the only one who missed that detail.

I bought a set of headlights last year to replace one that had the vertical adjustment broken, and eagerly installed them along with 9011 and 9012...

Re: Control Arms Replacement - Tips & Tricks wanted
