Re: How to properly test Crank Position Sensor

Just buy a new sensor online from Advance for $20. Use google to find a coupon code then pick it up in the store. The sensor itself converts a 200MV AC signal into a square wave that the ECU reads....

Re: 2000 sl2 dohc bottom end replacement

I must be really lucky because I haven't ever had the problems you speak of and I live in Indiana where besides this year, snow and salt get into everything.

If this is a common problem that I've...

Re: 2000 sl2 dohc bottom end replacement

Re: DOHC best timing kit?

Re: Overhauling 96 SL2, what should I do?

Thanks, I'll put that on the list. I dropped the engine out today and the skirts and lands look good but I'll do it anyways. It was burning oil but I'm thinking the brittle, cracked valve stem...

Overhauling 96 SL2, what should I do?

I just picked up a 96 SL2 for $300. Really bad knock but still runs and drives good. It's clear that the engine will need a total tear down due to the layer of silver glitter under the cam cover...

Re: SL2 Water Pump Replacement w/PICS

As a new Saturn owner, I must say this is a wonderful DIY write up. I registered here just so I could tell you good job, but I will add to it as well.
