Idea Oh, how I miss my Saturn(fans)...

Oh, how itís been such a long time since I've really posted. But I've been reminiscing about Maxene, my long lost SL2; like a fuzzy dream, the way she drove, the oil she burned. For a first car she...

Re: Did my GF blow up my motor? HELP

It suprised the hell out of me when it happened. In neutral or park it won't go over 4500 or something like that, and knowing that when I got on the ice I just gunned it and before I knew it I was...

Re: Did my GF blow up my motor? HELP

Once I tried to do a burnout on a patch of ice and overrevved the engine to 8000 for maybe 3 secs. It had a burning oil and coolant smell and I parked it and turned it off and it was fine. I'd check...

Re: So I flipped my VUE the other day

Good thing no one got hurt! Sorry to hear about your Satty, but it can always be replaced. People cannot.

Do you have any pictures of what happened?

Re: How many things are broken in your S and you have no desire to fix them?

That's another good thing about Saturns. They fix themselves. My car used to jerk around a lot and vas very rough when it was cold outside and one day it just quit. The car fixed itself. I was very...

Re: What Saturn is THAT?

I though you guys would get a kick out of that picture.

BTW, that SL3 thread was closed because Charlie was pressured by GM to not open a big can of worms. Conspiracy? They threatened him with...

Re: Worst car day ever

I wouldn't trust any boobies to just any old mechanic. You need someone you can trust. Good luck. Be nice, you will get more out of the situation if you are.

Re: Check out these mods I did yesterday

How bright are those gauges at night? They look like they would light up the whole car. Cool design.

Re: Aura commercial, Finally!

I was dissapointed by the trophy in that ad. Not as magnificent as I expected. I was hoping something more like the Stanley Cup, oh well I won't get one anyway.

And the people who get it... They...

Re: How many things are broken in your S and you have no desire to fix them?

I was reading some of this thread and I swear I am starting to feel sorry for my car. I should and do want to get it fixed, but the other side of me wants to see it go to a good junkyard. I don't...

Re: Scion VS Saturn?

tC vs. Ion, tC all the way. Smooth engine, fast for what it is, interior is WAY better than an Ion's. Not to mention it looks better and has more aftermarket support, although the ecotec has quite a...

Re: What Saturn is THAT?

Thank God it came out looking nothing like that.

There is an even rarer Saturn, if it even exists, the SL3. It's supposed to look like a SL with the pop-up headlights, maybe even with a V6.

Re: Are you planning on chatting with Jill Lajdziak?

I am going to ask if Saturn is going to do more to distinguish itself from Opel if they keep introducing their cars to this market and what are the odds that we can get some of the small diesels...

Re: Report (and photos) from the Milwaukee Auto Show

I still find it hard to believe that's a Saturn. A couple of years ago, no one saw that coming.

Re: Whoosing wind sound and flapping at high speed

I heard that the wooshing is the sound of your soul leaving your body.

Seriously, it's the splashguards. You don't hear it at low speeds because the air rushing around there is not great enough to...

Re: Buying a Saturn online?

Maybe in 1991. The Saturn dealership here is haggle city. The only no haggle dealership that I can think of is Car Max.

I would never recommend not shopping around. You never know which...

Re: Not so satisfied Greenline owner

It's a hard lesson to learn, but next time you will not make the same mistakes.

You will notice your mileage get MUCH better as the engine fully breaks in and the seals get situated. A new engine...

Re: Aura vs. Fusion

I would have to agree that and in my opinion, the Fusion's interior is a tweak nicer than the Aura's. But the interior in the Aura is a giant leap for GM. They have somewhat gotten away from the hard...
