Any example of this 'T' you're talking about? Do I have the wires correct? Meaning, is the single wire for the temp sender, and the double wire for the ECTS?

Ok, replaced the head on the 1993 SC1, and found out that there is only one sensor on it!! How can I solve where to connect the other wire without taking the head off and having something tapped...

Vitals on the car: 1996 SL2, auto, A/C, just over 200,000 miles, ECTS and O2 sensor changed less than a month ago...Don't remember the plug type...but I am sure it's not platinums or anything like...

Blinking SES light...

Got my problems solved, passed the emissions inspection, now the light will blink a number of times, then stay on for a while. Then, it will blink somewhere between 5 and 11 times, then go...

The ECTS was replaced three days before the O2 sensor in Bank 1 (exhaust manifold) was changed. Thanks for the explanation...it is running cool, so I will replace the thermostat.

The P0300 (I think) I solved by pulling the coil pack, sanding the back, the mounting points, and the spark plug wire connectors...the cold engine might be the deal...

Odd reading? The temp gauge (as long as I've had the car) has never been higher than the first mark above C, unless the car is idling in traffic without the A/C on...possible thermostat issue?

Well, I tried resetting the PCM, but when I went to get the inspection, the person told me that most of the sensors were showing 'Not Ready'...then, the SES light blinked three times on the way...

Hmmm...we have smelled gas every once in a while, but I haven't been able to detect where/if there is a leak...

If the cat was truly plugged, wouldn't the gas mileage be substantially lower? I got 28 mpg last tankful...

and the 1996 SC2 sedan failed the Texas emissions inspection with the codes P0300 and P0420....I know those are different issues, but would solving either one solve the other one? What are they,...
