Intermittent "no-crank" issue - slight variation

Think I need to replace my lock cylinder. (Think that is what its called)

Dealer couldn't reproduce. I think they didnt try very hard. Even with the symptoms I gave them.

Yea, your are right the power steering fluid reservoir is right above where I took the photo. It does look low but cautions you to not overfill. I'll post in separate thread after I do some...

If it wasnt appearing to clog my EGR, quickly coat my throttle plate, or coat the rubber hoses on the inside (such that I take them off and see black gunk) I wouldn't be so concerned about a quart...

Thanks for your help. Revrse vibration was related to mount being broken. Still have a loud shift...don't want to call it a slam - but its just noisy switching between many gears w/ 2 sec pause. ...

I think I'll need to invest in some cobalt snap on left hand drill bits.

I was able to just get the third one out. I used a regular (forward) drill bit just slightly smaller then my reverse left...

So I am working on this today. I got one stud out using an easy out extractor and reverse drill bit. The next one I got out using a dremel tool to create a flat head screwdriver tip in the bolt.

Took it to a tranny shop today and stood next to him during the evaluation. No codes to help him but he knows about the SL valve body...

So about a week ago, changed the oil but NOT the filter. Wrong filter wrench, so I used new oil. Planned on changing it in another week or so...

It even provides a picture chart with the bolt lengths and tells...

You may not like the answer. But based on your VIN Number you may have to replace the lower front control arm bushings. (I've ordered them for my car.) They started replacing them on later 2000...
