yes i know the diff between the two brass thingys,

this is Not a thermistor, it is a Thermocouple.

two pieces of dis similar metals, a bi meatal strip, if you will.

it has a natural reverse...

grind all the crap of with the nakita 4 inch,

weld on a piece of 1/4 by 2 flat stock,

just some healthy 1 inch tacks every one inch,

let cool 2 minutes between welds,

coat with epoxy...

Sprock Test- Temp Sender

This is a plot of the Saturn SL-2 Temp Sender.

It has Resistance between the sensor ground and either of the 2 terminals.

We choose the South terminal for testing.

here is an AP Exaust Products thingy i got in my mailbox today,

looks a little beter than the Walker in tghe bend dept,

flange is bent on purpose to fit...

i had a Clarke's Machine Shop 350 balanced and the whole 9,

sold the car, the guy changes the converter and now the car lays rubber 50 yards down the...

this will turn off when your motor is switched off,

all you have to do is take the feed off the temp sender and feed it into a voltage activated switch for cabin control.

no temp probes to wire...

put a 90 on that flange and i bet it is square,

i bet the guy on the cut off saw was checking out some meat when he hacked that pipe,

usually the poor welder has a jig where he slams the piece...

please be careful when "jumpering" 12 volts around with a wire,

let us say that there is an internal short within the fan.

let us say that the fuse would go,

let us jumper 12 volts off the...

a mechanical switch is the number one electrical component to fail, always,

i bet the problem is the cheap plastic switch in the dome lite itself.

it is shorted to always on, or always off.

no heat at all means the door that lets air flow thru the core is closed,

or you have something stuck in the heater hoses,

on this car the heater hose gets necked down into a small steel...

you rev the snot out of it, the socket pops loose after a few nervous rattles,

or you could chuck up a 3/16 th's drill bit,

go thru most of the way,

chuck up a 3/8 in a milwaukee 1/2 inch jacobs super chuck and you are gone in 60 seconds with the cheap azz steel they use,...
