Re: 2003 Vue AWD V6 Timing belt

Re: 2003 Vue AWD V6 Timing belt

Belt is broke? Or it slipped? You can take off oil fill tube and see cams. Turn over crank (not easy) and see if cams move.
I would ask why you think belt is broke? Does motor crank oddly? Cranking...

Re: Car Rattling Sound - Cold Engine - In Park (Saturn Vue 2007 3.5L V6 AWD)

Re: Poping noise in front end.

Re: Oil Choices for the Honda V6 - & Filters

Pennzoil blend is 40-50 % mix. I donít believe any brand is 90syn/10 Dino. Unless it costs 90% of full syn.

Re: Swapping passenger bottom seat cushion onto driver's side

I tried it on several cars from the mid 2000 era. Always ran into odd issues like the seat belt anchors or some dang bracket. Really bites to tear down 2 seats and have to put them back together due...

Re: Oil Choices for the Honda V6 - & Filters

Re: Oil Choices for the Honda V6 - & Filters

odd that a shop would not have 5-20. been around for ever. i think they sold you what they have in bulk. i am pretty sure your motor is spec'd for dino oil. a synth blend is 90%dino/10%syn. aint...

Re: Wheel bearings

If you have done brake jobs it is 80% there. Unbolt 4 mounting bolts from bearing and use the bolt method. Itís getting the rusted bearing out of the knuckle that everyone fights with. The rear drum...

Re: 2003 Vue 3.0 L81 question...

yes. and the cam sprocket bolts are torx. and the cam bearing cap bolts are male torx. vs female torx. you have to remove cams to remove the headbolts. doing the heads on the 3.0 is tedious for sure

Re: Wheel bearings

better to have it and not need it vs needing it and not having it
