I've even wondered it if would be possible to do a fully electric conversion to a Saturn. If I could get 70-80 mile range with a 8 hour or less charging time it could be my daily commuter

The grass its sitting on is my uncles back yard. He buys and sells cars. Even with the low miles it was still the lowest trim level not even having cruise control, or the switch for performance...

I passed on buying the Saturn. I went back for a second look and test drive of it and took it out on the highway. The car felt very unsafe and just didn't seem right.

I'm holding off on buying it for now, gonna take some better pics and look at it better to make sure stuff isn't fudged up. The rest of the car seems really good, doesn't appear to leak oil etc....

Also, I've seen 30k mile junkyard motors selling for as much as I'll have invested in this car, so even worst case scenario of a junkyard subframe or me scrapping the car out I'll still come out OK....

It seemed to drive fine, as I said I took it on a "extended test drive" for an afternoon and put about 50 miles on it and nothing seemed funny , although if you guys think its really bad I'll try to...

My uncle calls me today to say he has a car I might he interested in seeing. It is a 2002 Saturn sl1 sohc with only 31,000 miles on it. Yes just 31k!!!!. All of the car was in immaculate condition...

Sl2 stick, the front and rear sway bars and dohc make it a peppy car... Plus the 4 doors makes it practical for passengers

My Saturn has 242k on it, and before I blew a hole in the transmission I would of trusted it for almost cross country travel. The suspension and alignment was so good I could let go of the steering...

Washed and used some of turtle wax "spray wax" and wiped it on with a microfiber cloth
