Dizzy 2007 Door Latch Broken (door closed)

The rear cam on the window regulator came loose and the window must have tweaked the door latch linkages and broke the latch while the door was closed. This is the driver side door.

make sure its not the intake thats leaking coolant (coolant flows through your intake and a bad intake gasket would leak coolant).

if your car starts fine when it is warm, then your oil is probably so thick that it wont let your engine crank...this might be coupled with a weak starter...

I'm pretty sure this has happened to...

you should tear it down and get the timing right (or at least double check it), and then do a compression test...

No, I have a SOHC and bent all my intake valves. My cylinders survived along with my pistons (just pretty indentations where the valves hit them).

There is a spec for the acceptable amount of play you have. I forget what the term for this is "crankshaft walk" maybe..."endplay"? Obviously you would measure with a dial indicator and if it exceeds...

The SOHC cylinder heads crack like glass and put oil in the coolant. The DOHC cylinder heads dont crack as often however. You might be lucky and just have a blown head gasket. You got ripped off...
