Re: coolant cap

Most places like Swify Jube seem to have a list of just crap they're throw at you that's "wrong" and hope some poor unsuspecting customer bites. We took my girlfriend's Mazda 6 to AAA this past...

Re: Our SW2 is gone

Couldn't have said it better myself. I know when mine got rear-ended in front of my house winter of 2011, I was a mess for days. Lost sleep many nights even. At the time, I thought it was a...

Re: What did you do to your S-Series today...

Cried a little bit instead since I got laid off at the first of the month. So, that means no more parts buying until I find a job. Damn the luck. Such bad timing since the Eclipse is down for the...

Re: Aftermarket stereo, power but no sound

Check your CHIME fuse also. Located in the interior fuse box. I think I had the same issue you're having many years ago and that turned out to be it.

Re: One of 'dem days....

Heh, my Saturn has been the good car out of the pair. It's the Eclipse that's been the evil, unruly, money pit. :upset:

Re: Engine lift for engine/tranny removal

Personally, I bought the one from Harbor Freight. BUT! I ended up getting a mid-rise scissor lift by Titan Lifts for my birthday a couple years back and dropped the whole powertrain out of the...

Re: What did you do to your S-Series today...

Well, the other day I ordered a rear sway bar for her since I already have the S*2 crossmember. I disassembled my rear brake calipers then, boxed them up so, they can take a journey west to get...

Re: Subframe swap

Most S-series subframes should swap over with no trouble. The very early S-series are slightly different due to the radiator mounting, but other than that, they should swap between the S-Series...

Re: Saturn Wax & Shine

Meguiar's Gold Class soap and water. Meguiar's Clay Bar if need. The wax is Meguiar's as well though I can't remember which one.

The Eclipse is similar except that it gets some Black Box...

Re: Coolant Fluid

My 1995 hasn't seen Dexcool in many years. Been running Peak 50/50 for as long as I can remember with no problem. Did a full flush just last year right before the engine start of July and looked...

Saturn & GM Tech II

Okay, so I can't seem to find a straight answer for the life of me on this. No, I don't need *just* a code scanner (I have that) and I have the necessary funds for the Tech II. Can the GM Tech II...

Re: The Little Saturn that Could - Repair Thread

A fairly easy way to remove that window tint you mentioned is use of a steamer. I bought an inexpensive clothes steamer from Wal-Mart for under $30. Used it to remove the tint off my Eclipse and...

Got two here myself. If anyone wants/needs, pm me. Acquired them when I was searching for the rare 1995 one since that one is year specific.
