Re: Your favorite tires?

Michelins are always good. According to Consumer Reports they always rank highly. I personally go cheap and rarely put tires to the test so the least expensive from Town Fair Tire* (local discount...

Re: Off Topic - Waiex 191

It has to have some ability to bend - judging by the angles of the plane in these grabbed frames. When I first watched this I thought it might be a handheld camera being held through an opening under...

Re: Saturn Craigslist Deal of the Day!

^^^^ It looks new! Well worth the $3,200.00 price tag. (Currently)

Re: Mysterious hiccup

I had a hiccup climbing hills at highway speed. Changing the coils fixed it.

Re: Off Topic - Waiex 191

That is awesome! One of the first flying S-Series. The under the fuselage photography is very nice. Was that a GoPro camera with the ability to lean left and right on its mount?

Re: Saturn Craigslist Deal of the Day!

^^^^ Not even pricey for current market conditions. 70,000 miles is nothing for a Saturn. I dare say 'underpriced'.

Re: What did you do to your S-Series today...

Okay, checked the book.
Only 26,465 miles on that last set of plugs.
My SW2's history under my care is in the pages shown.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him think.

Re: What did you do to your S-Series today...

^^^^ I don't really know how long since they were changed last. It feels like it might be as little as 20,000 miles but I will have to check. I use the notes page in my 1997 hardcover owners manual...

Re: Need Help Identifying this Saturn

Here is visual reference between Gen1.1 (1991-1992) and Gen1.2 (1993-1995) bumper cover designs.

Re: Need Help Identifying this Saturn

Re: What did you do to your S-Series today...

Changed spark plugs.
NGK copper for NGK copper.
Left the wires from the last change alone since it's unnecessary to change the wires as often as the plugs.
Convince me that I'm wrong.
Took a pic...

Re: Saturn Craigslist Deal of the Day!

Installed spark plugs. NGK copper out and NGK copper in. First time actually using anti-sieze cream on the threads. Chose not to swap out the wires since it might be overkill and useless. Convince me...

Re: Trying to figure out if aftermarket motor mounts still suck in 2021

So here is a quick view of the Vibrometer app working while the car idles in the driveway in park. (Still with the recently installed frowny mount)

1) Top reading is sitting on the dashboard just...

Re: S series junkyard autopsies/who says small cars are unsafe?

There's a nice looking valve cover on that DOHC engine for someone with a warpy plastic Gen 2 valve cover they'd like to replace.

Re: Lazy and Thrifty Headliner Options?

Once you consider that there is some magic sealant paint that will do the job, you might think about how much fun it is to apply paint to the ceiling in a tight cabin with car seats and carpet below....

Re: Lazy and Thrifty Headliner Options?

Re: Saturn

Don't you mean something like 'Souped It Up'? ... In my parlance, 'Tuned It Out' meant you ignored something.
