Re: New guy needs pointed in right direction.

My 04 would be different since it is not DBW so I am not sure that would help if you think it is throttle related.

Re: Smell but don't see Fuel Leak

I don't have any codes and the lines that are visible all look good. There are no damp spots or anything that looks corroded. Since it is mainly only when the car runs or after I assume it is the...

Smell but don't see Fuel Leak

So recently I have been noticing around the drivers side the smell of a possible fuel leak. Searching under the car there are no spots that show the signs of a fuel leak. Is there a common area for...

Re: horn blowing...all the time!

Is it possible someone wired it to a light? I have wired horns to my friends vehicles a few times to brake lights, reverse, and seat belt sensors. Might not really apply but just the first thing I...

Re: Need new tires

Ideally you should keep the fronts and backs the same and always replace in pairs unless the other side is almost new. Mixing and matching tires can give you mixed handling.

Re: Missing Sway Bar

I did not want the ride to get too stiff which is why I figured adding the sway bar would help with handling without compromising the ride quality much. New struts are going on soon and I was...

Re: 05 Saturn Ion sedan exhaust

There is not too much for the sedans that I have found and going custom allows you to mix and match your own muffler into a system. ZZP has some for the redline but those would need to be extended to...

Re: Missing Sway Bar

I thought they all came with atleast something but I think this car really needs one if for any other reason to put less stress on the front sway bar which could be partly why those keep breaking....

Missing Sway Bar

So when I bought this car a few months ago the front sway bar link was broken which I replaced and I was checking out my exhaust and noticed the rear sway bar is not there. I am fairly certain I have...

Re: Driving on Ice

Drifting is basically the best way to describe the winter driving style. Up in WI we get slick roads from snow, slush, and ice and car control comes down to slow and steady or if the roads are clear...

Thumbs Up Re: Choosing a Saturn

First off welcome to the Forum! I have a 2004 and love it so far. There has only been 1 part that needed to be fixed which was the shift positioner for the reverse lights and that was really easy. My...

Re: I Bought ShawnV's 96 SW2, with 5th gear swap as my DD

Looks great and dedicated winter tires are amazing. I like Firestone Winterforce for my Crown Vic and Blizzak LM001 for the Ion. What is the 5th gear swap?

Re: 06 Redline for sale ?

The only way to look at this purchase is for parts value. Best case scenario you fix the engine and everything else is great and it drives good. Worst case you fix the engine then find out the tranny...

Re: Trying to get to 180-220 Hp

That was the limits of that car but depending on the tuner they should be able to get more out of it if your car can handle it and has supporting mods that can flow better.

Re: Trying to get to 180-220 Hp

It is on the high side and would go over a bit depending on how you set it up and do a tune.

Re: Rev Hang

The letter mentioned it was covered under warranty but would that still be the case or is that no longer valid since it is out of warranty? I wasn't sure if maybe this was a recall item.
Thanks!
