Re: Well darn, my '99 SL2 laps oil like a BMW

I actually tried this on my '99 before the rebuild. Oil consumption did not improve. After the rebuild it uses ~no oil.

With that said,...

Re: Front subfame corrosion protection

The oil filter does an amazing job of keeping the passenger side rust at bay. I put oil in the driver's side at my oil changes now.

Re: Straight Up Bragging Rights

My kid has said a few times "if we only had unlimited funds and a black hole to store excess Saturns." Though that is impossible onlinebiker is a close enough approximation. You win bragging rights...

Re: Need screw in fitting for water heater hose, dr. side

Seems like an odd part to fail, which may make it hard to find. It is probably a pipe thread. If you can measure the old one, would be easier to find a replacement. Or grab one from a junkyard. Will...

Two. I can sense you trembling in fear.

I don't think I've owned 21 motor vehicles plus bicycles in my life.

Re: Putting 1999 SC2 wheels on 2000 SL2

Edit: that's not right. That is the...

Re: Whats your MPG?

I'm from Connecticut. I had at least 5 events that were WOT, 5500 RPM through third gear this morning. When I've driven like a midwesterner, I've achieved 34 with no highway.
