Check the circumference of the pulley on the original vs ebay one it may be smaller than the original. If so then you have a spare just swap pulleys.

Lighter socket body is connected to chassis which is neutral/ground same as battery negative.

Step 3. Which fuse am I removing exactly? The F5 one I presume?
Fuse from fuse holder which is attached to battery terminal [ring connector.]
