Re: I hope "foreign" doesn't mean Chinese or Indian

I drove several hundred thousand miles with three lug wheels. Three is the proper number to define a plane in solid geometry.

Re: Vanishing dealerships in my area

One could argue that since you have two Saturns, you are driving 200 miles round trip not 100. :D

Re: Vanishing dealerships in my area

El Cajon feels like another state! :D

Speaking of another state; I have spent many weeks visiting in your neck of the woods (Florence, KY)

Re: Vanishing dealerships in my area

[QUOTE=WhenenRome;1156405]

The closest dealers to me are Whittier and Ontario. Ontario is further, but more accessible (traffic-wise). Like Saturn of the Valley, Ontario is a big dealer.

Re: Vanishing dealerships in my area

True enough, but inthe two cases WheninRome is discussing both dealerships that were opened are stand alone (Mazda for one and Accura for the other).

Re: Vanishing dealerships in my area

Saturn of Monrovia closed up within weeks of purchasing my daughter's ION. I *****ed to Saturn and they gave me four free oil changes as compensation/good will. That dealer advertises a lot for...

Re: Best reading yet on DIC

The fuel economy reading on the DIC on my HHR has totally matched my calculations at fill up. Very pleased.

Re: Where will the next Saturn come from? Is there room for small, innovative compan

I assume that your reply is satirical?

As you mentioned the Chevy figures do not include the HHR's 13,000 sales, but also leaves out non- North American production which is over 6000 cars.

Re: Will you consider a non-Saturn car next time?

I won't be getting a Saturn because 1. no dealership and 2. they are just getting to expensive for my budget. I will always have a warm spot in my heart for the brand though.

Re: OnStar Renewal Tactic

When our Onstar ran out in Februrary we received a notice of cancellation if we didn't take action and supply a credit card etc. Why did they have your credit card number if you had "free" Onstar?

Re: No Hatchbacks!

On which line of the 1040 do I enter dept as a tax deduction? Perhaps you are refering to the interest paid as an item in the itemized deductions? It is that time of the year again. :)

Re: GM says strong euro bad for Opel sales in US-report

Depending on how one interprets lock on the segment can make a difference. For comparison last months sales of Cobalts were 13,605

Re: GM says strong euro bad for Opel sales in US-report

The other side of the coin is that North American produced cars like the rebadged Saturn Sky will be cheaper in Europe.

Re: Spring Hill avoids the axe – but what’s new?

Toyota counts Matrix sales in with corolla sales. I think the HHR is no more different than its other delta siblings than is the Corolla and Matrix.
