Saturninin those are definitely nasty!

I haven't seen them separate before at the rear curved portion as it appears in your drivers side pic.....

I'm guessing that one will have to be cut well...

fetchitfido, I wasn't sure....I was thinking about the wire wheel but thought it might possibly damage the face if it starts to take material away.

Is the rocker panel the long plastic piece that goes between the front and rear wheels? Its held in with plastic push pins?

Which gauges are you using for measuring pressures? The ones from Harbor Freight?

You might want to put a dab of anti seize on those bolts for next time....mine came out ok but I did use a bit of pb blaster and then cleaned the holes and bolts and put on a dab of anti seize.

As far as oil goes and noisy lifters, I have been using Mobil clean 5000 5w30 - regular oil - and this has done a good job.
I tried a 5w30 synthetic in the winter and the lifters clattered on...

I have some coming out around the expansion valve at the firewall.....2 years ago I had the high pressure tube replaced - the one that goes from the expansion...

With regards to the parking brake engagement, does only 2 clicks seem too little?
I thought normal for these cars was 4 to 6 clicks of the handle for the adjustment to be about right -...
