^^Hmmm.....Not good. Only 2 possibilites: Goof at the factory or that bearing has been replaced unknown to you and someone goofed here too!

There should be a circlip at the rear of the bearing.

^^^ There is only one circlip on the rear of the knuckle. No circlip on the front of the bearing.

My thoughts: I would not even attempt to press the hub or the bearing in without a bench or floor mount press. Just too many concerns. The bearing has to be supported very well from behind when...

Fdryer, is correct BUT......I have replaced this part 2 times on 2 different cars by simply removing the 4 phillips head screws at the bottom of the door panel.

The door panel can be wedged open...

^^^In addition to Pierrot and Ruley73's comments, take a very good look at the oil filter cap. These crack very easily. You have the 1st version of this cap GM used. There is an updated version...

That random code you mentioned is Bank 2 Running lean. That will cause an engine to run hot. (Fry the cat)
