Re: What did you do to your S-Series today...

Well, I checked under the hood when the car was idling at full temperature and the new Murray coolant cap seems fine. Just makes me nervous how little torque it takes before it starts clicking like a...

Re: What did you do to your S-Series today...

Slapped on a new Murray #7039 on the coolant reservoir. The stock one had a bad seal. This Murray clicks like a fuel cap. Is that normal? The original cap does not have that feature. Well, time will...

I have extensively been shifting to 3 then 2 to trim speed and coming to a stop, I figure this...

Re: Well darn, my '99 SL2 laps oil like a BMW

Wow, this is a lively thread. Sometimes debates yield something positive for many parties.

I affixed an IATS on my radiator hose and it seems to have had a positive effect on the idle. Perhaps...

So I installed the new brass tipped sensor...

I finally performed the mod with a used brass IAT just collecting dust. First 20 mile excursion seemed to run pretty good and maybe little less of the usual Ratlurn LOL

I will update in the...
