Re: My AURA Test Drive

Good review. Thanks for the info. I can't wait to test drive one. Too bad all the Long Island Saturn's near me have gone the way of the dodo. :hmm:

Re: How old is too old for gas?

I'd trust old gas in my lawn mower, but not in a car.

Re: Saw the new Aura and saw some changes

I've driven the Altima. It is far from a boat.

Re: 2008 Aura coupe concept

Yup! It's good to see a fellow GMIer here.:)

You should change your name for less GMI-Saturnfans crossover confusion.:dizzy:

Re: 2008 Aura coupe concept

The G6 coupe is far from a hack job. A wagon would be ok, but a coupe would look much better, and draw some younger buyers who would otherwise head to Honda or Toyota for an Accord or Solara.

2008 Aura coupe concept

Here is a concept I created of a possible Aura coupe. I hope Saturn will consider it. There are a lot of coupe fans that want a midsize offering from Saturn. Honda and Toyota can pull it off, why...

Re: gap closing

Wow, does Manuel drive the Saturn for you? Why can't we choose between Manuel, Ricardo or Jose? JK (I could not resist) ;)

Re: I think my dealer went out of business

That happened to me too!

We bought our LS2 in 2000 and my mother-in-law bought her SC in 2001 at Saturn of Huntington.

We lived in Melville so it was within 4 miles of our house and my...

Re: Top Speed limiter was 130+, now is 106

That is weird. I thought the old Sl2's topped out in the low to mid 120's.
105 definitely sounds wrong, but if it is in the computer it can be defeated by being reprogrammed.

Re: Curve or Sky?

The Sky is a no brainer. That is one of the sexiest roadsters to come out of any company in the past few years.

Re: 2006 info and pics!

When you "print" the PDF, you need to scroll through towards the end and you will see photos of radios and wheels.

I noticed they did not update the line drawings to reflect whatever new look the...

Re: 2006 info and pics!

I was thinking the same thing about the base VUE. Why keep the 2.2L Ecotec when the 2.4L seems better suited as the base engine? Oh well.

Re: Saturn = Opel/Vauxhall?

All major Saturn engineering is being done by Opel and the stylists at Saturn give the cars a nice new Saturn look to them. That is the direction of Saturn.

I still wish that Saturn could do it's...

Re: What would you think if the Equinox or Torrent interior made it into the VUE?

I'd go with the Torrent interior with some changes. Like, a better headunit like on the Sky and better materials to make the Saturn the obvious quality choice.

Of course it would be even better if...

Re: There any pics of the SKY with the top on?

I don't think the top is finalized yet. I remember reading that the current model on the show circuits has no working top at all. Any warking tops are still being tested on mules. I am sure we will...

Re: Buying an Ion 3 tomorrow? maybe..???

Well the new Ion 3 will be much better on gas and the 2005 is a decent improvement over the 04 models. Just make sure you thoroughly test it and make sure you can live with the lesser power of the...

Re: GTO owners view of Saturn

I am not biased. I like the Solstice, but I like the Sky better.

If you do not know why people by the GTO, then you have obviously not driven one. It is a refined and powerful V8 blast to drive....

I agree that there are some dummies out there. Judging by your last 2 comments I would not want to think you are one of them.

Re: Ion vs. Cobalt Crash Test Pictures

Remember that the Ion was designed first. That being said, the Cobalt had the advantage of starting with a good structure and tweaking it a bit more to improve safety.

All cars can be improved...

Re: Saturn Dealership Closing

There used to be one in Huntington, which is where I leased my LS2 in 2000 and my Mother-in-Law leased her 2001 SC2. All of a sudden they closed down and were replaced by a Porsche dealership! I hope...

Re: GM Card & Saturn

I have the original black GM card. That is why I have the higher points. They rounded my $2,012 to $3,000 plus an additional $500 for certain models. My only problem now is that someone got a hold of...
