Re: I'm looking to purchase a Vue. Weighing the options.

I tracked mpg of every fillup on xls for my now totaled 06 v6. It got 20 mpg almost all the time. On some highway trips we would get 23-24. Was great smooth engine tranny combo.

Re: If you got a rockauto timing belt in here please

That's the same part I was referring to. I'm still little confused even by the other thread as to exactly where it goes but since you say it is used I will pick up the more complete kit.

Re: Ceramic or Semi-metallic Brake Pads?

Put some AZ ceramic pads on my wife's 06V6. Pretty disappointed right now at how much these things dust up. The dust is black too! I've had ceramic pads on my car for 10 years and they never...

Re: Rotor/Brake Design

Just be sure to torque the lugs to spec EVERY time the nuts are removed. Even if you have to do it after a dealership/ mechanic has already done it.

Re: 2.2 ecotech saturn vue timing chain replacement HELP!

Were you using an impact wrench to turn the crank or were you doing it by hand force (1/2 drive)?

Did you finish up the job?

Re: 2.2 ecotech saturn vue timing chain replacement HELP!

Go on alldatadiy and get the online service manual. There is no way that you bent the valves if you were turning the crank by hand. Even though you think the vehicle may be in correct timing ALWAYS...

Re: Vue noise (maybe pulley)

I saw a write up on another forum for re-greasing a pulley tensioner. You basically have to pop the back cover off the pulley (after the pulley is removed) and repack with grease. Don't know if it...
