Re: Correct brake bleeding order

I did mine furthest to nearest when I rebuilt the '99. When I replaced the front lines on the '98 I only bled the fronts.

Re: (Sarcoxiechick ) Manual transmission trouble - '98 SL2

My '99 axle broke a few years ago. It didn't look broke, no dangly or twisted parts.

Edit: symptoms sound a lot like yours, except the inability to push it in gear with the engine off. I didn't...

Re: FFR: brake and clutch pedal pad cover manual transmission

One last post - the Dorman 20726 for Honda/Acura does fit. Looks more like the original cover. It is on the brake pad in the picture....

Re: 96 SC2 bringing it back to life (slowly)

Re: cant sleep soooooo

I used to work in test (among other jobs) at Sikorsky Aircraft. In test there was a big sign on the wall that said "One test is worth 1000 expert opinions." But I would also say that if you test it,...

Re: Saturn Craigslist Deal of the Day!

Most of the population is mechanically incompetent. Not all of them can admit it. Some of us have the confidence to move to competence by breakin' stuff as we go. When I teach my kids in the hangar,...

Re: 2001 SC2 Brake Fluid Flush

My '99 SL2 has ABS. During the rebuild, we replaced all lines and the rear wheel cylinders. So it pretty much has all new brake fluid. I bled it just like any other car. All is well 7000 miles later.

Edit: first post on page 6 shows me removing the old ball stud. It was rusted pretty...

Re: 2001 SW2 manual: starter won't engage - no solenoid click

I generally suspect the starter first. I'm on my 4th aftermarket replacement. Especially if it does not work and then suddenly does. You can definitely bump start a manual transmission Saturn in...
