Re: 92 header

Had to dust off my login. Haven't been here for a while.

Anyways, I still don't have a Saturn but I do still have a 91/92 header and downpipe. I have a guy that may want to buy it for his 99 but...

Re: For the California S-series owners out there

You can't get away with pulling the bulb out. Any scan tool will be able to tell if the SES light is on whether or not the bulb is there. They don't even sniff the exhaust on OBDII cars here, they...

Re: glass?

Over here in Spokane, I've gotten quotes for under $300 for a first gen. Can't remember who I called, though. Never actually got it done. They are very hard to remove without breaking, especially if...

Re: air will only come out of the defrost vents

Probably what has happened is the diverter door has become stuck and the cable is now loose and slipping. I had a similar problem with my 94. You should be able to reach under the dash and the...

Re: Please tell me someone is good with wiring/electricity!

Oh, I missed the part where you said you had three of them. I'm not sure then. My electronics skills are old and corroded.

Re: oil

Good gawd, stop using Penzoil! All the old guys swear by it as they drive off with blue smoke billowing out the tailpipe. Just like madpogue said, I've also been a first hand witness to results of...

Re: Lingering doubts about new EGR valve?

+1. The vacuum bleed off is normal. Keeps the EGR valve from staying open causing surging while cruising at light throttle. I'd bet you fixed your code 32.

Re: overheating issues

If the fan comes on with the a/c it can't possibly be the relay. Make sure you changed the correct sensor. The one with two wires is the ECTS the one with one wire is only talking to the dash gauge....

Re: four wheel weight distribution

I would tend to think it would be darn close to 50/50 side to side or it would just be weird.

Re: Please tell me someone is good with wiring/electricity!

Putting two equal loads in series across a supplied voltage will divide the supplied voltage among the loads. 14.~ volts divided by 2 = 7.~ volts. Far above the specified input voltage for those...

Re: Accent Lighting

I would be willing to bet that any goofy lights are going to be against the law. Adding any sort of foglights might be illegal in some states.

I was just checking that out on Washington's DOT...

Re: Does the DVD come WITH the car....BAWAHAHAHAA!!!

Why in the world would you want the stereo controls in the sunvisor? And the gauges mounted on the glove box door is priceless. I guess someone could sit over there and report to the driver any...

Re: Worse Oil Change of My Life.

I get so tired of people misspelling the simplest words. It is sad that so many people have not been educated properly.

Probably the thing that baffles me the most is getting the words, 'sell'...

Re: Saturn Math

I think it's kinda funny how people criticize the Smart Car for being so small and unsafe in a crash but have no problem hopping on a motorcycle and flying down the freeway at 70mph. I kinda think of...

Re: Insurence rates.

This is something that has stuck since the 50's. In the past, women didn't drive nearly as much as men so, naturally, the safety statistics for women made it appear that they are much safer drivers....
