If my engine "popped" with the broken timing chain I'd probably scrap the car. My L200 is stick and on the original clutch- replacing that is very very costly and then there's always the steering...

Hi. I have a 2002 L200 stick that just passed the 80K mark. I've done mostly highway driving with it and hope to keep it as long as it runs well.

Mine has stayed the same for 4 years so I wouldn't worry too much. We've had some very bitter cold days in New Jersey over those years and it hasn't grown.

May snapped timing chains, leaky steering racks, worn/and or leaky clutch throw out bearings, bad tail lights, dimming headlights etc....
