Re: another revisitation on old actuator trick

Yes, it is. The OE p/n 22732653 is used for all L-Series cars which have the manual HVAC controls. The same is true for the air inlet actuator, OE p/n 22732652. So whether it's a sedan or wagon,...

Re: Saturn Stuck in 3rd Gear

That last sentence couldn't be more correct! We've run into this model identification issue with '04 L-Series car in older threads. I'm beginning to think that a "bean counter" came up with the idea...

Re: 2002 LW300 Brake Boost Failure?

Re: 2002 LW300 Brake Boost Failure?

Welcome to SaturnFans, Brian90638! How long was the vehicle sitting prior to this trip? What was the outdoor temperature at this time? Semi-metallic brakes work poorly in very cold temperatures and...

Re: Aura won't start

The part towards which the arrow is drawn is definitely the starter. (The principal difference between the ECOTEC 2.2L and 2.4L engines is - apart from horse power - the bore and stroke.)

I would recommend re-posting this message in one of the S-Series sub-forums. Your posting will be seen by more members there than at this sub-forum.

Re: Standard L-Series issues...

^Even if the electric locks fail the front doors have key locks and the trunk lid also has one. It's always possible for an owner enter the cabin or trunk of the car in a normal way.

Re: Saturn Brake Lines

I don't know if the information you have for the tool is correct or not, but you must correctly identify the type of bubble flare that you have. Use of the wrong bubble flare will result in leaks....

^I agree with the previous post. If they've been good with basic maintenance then you'll get a lot of life out of this car. The powertrain in my car has been as reliable as one could hope for. I...

I'm in agreement regarding the fourth picture from the left. I think that is the best look so far. I like the appearance of having the lower rear bumper cover remain silver. If you're considering...

Re: Engine mounts

FWIW, I discovered that if the torque mount you've referred to was installed (GM p/n 24410987 [dampener]), but not the rear mount (GM p/n 9127180) on the opposite side of the engine, then the torque...

Re: Lw200 cluster bulb size.(...the old bulb trick?)

Re: New owner of a 2002 LW300

That's a good thing. Diving into repairs on the L81 V6 requires one to have a sharp mind and good hands. IMHO, working on that engine is not for the faint of heart.

If you'd like to see some...
