Got my SC2 back today. I'm $1,222.05 lighter.

Re: What did you do to your S-Series today...

Torn flywheel (right at the bolts too. I'll post pictures when I get a chance to snap them), along with a...

'02 SC2 - Where to buy new rear trailing arms?

Just took my car in for new tires and an alignment. Apparently the rear trailing arms were bent up really bad. They bent them back as best as possible, but they're still going to need to be replaced....

Re: Clicking noise in reverse - '02 SC2 Automatic

UPDATE!

The clicking noise is gone. Ends up I read the levels wrong and had too much in the transmission.

Siphoned some out, and it's perfect.

Clicking noise in reverse - '02 SC2 Automatic

I've noticed recently that when I put my SC2 in reverse, I'll hear a clicking noise coming from what sounds like the transmission. It goes away when I put it in any other gear.

Fluid levels appear...

Re: Whats your MPG?

I've been averaging about 30MPG combined lately.

My commute has changed to include more freeway driving, which definitely helps.

Re: What to buy what to buy????

A-ha, I didn't see you were from New Brunswick. Around here (Detroit, and Michigan in general), you can't find a Saturn that runs for less than $800-1000, and even then, they're generally high...

While I do agree about the trunk, getting a 3rd gen S Series for under $3,000 just isn't going to happen, in the States or Canada.

Matte black? Alright, I'm a fan of matte black (if done properly), but with a green hood is a little ghetto.

I say paint it. Not like you could make it any worse. The Saturn community is a...

Re: Chilton or Haynes?

OH WOW. It's been a while since I've even seen mention of OS/2. I've got an IBM Thinkpad in my basement running OS/2 Warp. Now I'm gonna have to pull that out.

You know, that might be. It was definitely in the 92's glove box, but 91 makes sense too. Now I've just gotta find a 91 owner's manual.

1992 Saturn Retailer Accessory Brochure

I was at the junkyard yesterday, and I ran across this. It was in a pretty beat looking 1992, but I figured it had some nostalgic/historic value to the Saturn loving community. I hope you enjoy!

Re: 92' SL2 update

No no, the LS1 motor is from the 97-04 Corvette/98-02 Camaro. It's a rather powerful V8 that's a very popular engine swap for modern hot rodders.

And the 4-cyl L-Series cars used Ecotec motors,...

Re: Fuel filter replacement interval: '95 SL2

The "OEM or Wix" mantra with the fuel filters applies to the newer style, because they have the fuel pressure regulator built in. I've been running a Champ Labs fuel filter for the '98+ (mine's an...

P0341 - Probably Damp Coil Packs?

We had a nasty bit of rain yesterday. I didn't drive, but when I went to go to class earlier today, my SES light came on.

Plugged it into the scanner, and it pulled a P0341 code, which says cam...
