Re: Magnetic tool retriever
Well, I found a $3 one and a $7 one at Harbor Freight. Gave them a call and they have both in stock (on the way home from work). I know the $7 one bends - not sure about the $3. If the $3 bends,...

Re: oil useage
I haven't added oil to the Saturn in over seven months. Of course, I sold it on 9/30/27. :arr:
I told the father/son who purchased it to be sure to keep an eye on the oil - it just depends on...

Re: Poor Fuel Economy compared to everyone else.
^^^ This.
If EVERY vehicle YOU drive is getting less than the expected MPG, you either have extremely bad luck or you have very bad driving habits.

Re: Modern Day Automatic Transmission
I don't know where you got those numbers from, but they aren't accurate. The bias is clearly evident. :D I don't have the 'turbo' model - I have the better MPG model and average about 36, combined...

Why I don't lend my car to anyone that I'm not ready to part with, i.e., at least 10 years old and/or 150K miles on it.
