Re: Coolant port on intake manifold
You're welcome, that's why we're here :D
Are you having some kind of cooling problem? Was wondering if there was a reason for your original question.
The Saturn cooling setup is one of the...

Awesome find! Which yard?
Yesterday - dragged out an extension cord, plugged a trickle charger onto the battery around noon ("nice" weather, got up to mid 30s) until around 5:20 pm (didn't want...

Re: Coolant port on intake manifold
You are picturing the flow backwards. There is no overflow in this system.
Coolant is constantly flowing through that hose when the engine is running. Flow is from the engine near the intake into...

Re: Manual Transmission Shift Knobs
wow, can't remember the last time I spent $100 on my SC2 other than tires. :D
"universal fit" means it probably won't fit the Saturn D-shaft without some work. Even the narrowest adapter was still...

Re: New 95 SW2
Not sure about the interior colors but would be real easy to swap and get a matched set of cars :D
That might be a bucket list hobby for me one day . . . get a matched set SC2, SL2 and SW2 :p

Re: Manual Transmission Shift Knobs
Not a lot of good options.
Best one is to find a leather OEM knob in good shape at a junkyard.
Next is to buy one a a store and make it fit. Or make your own.
The Saturn stick has a...

Re: Selling my 1999 Homecoming
Depends on your state, but getting the title transferred is no big deal in MI because the S series were USA build. There's a Customs form, you get it stamped at the border, and that's it....

Re: New 95 SW2
Nice, best year for the wagon, IMO. First gen outside, second gen dash.
Wish one would follow me home, lol :D
Whose 2nd gen SL2 is in the back?
Also, you need to find a matching color 95...

And don't forget this guy who hit 883k back in 2011 or earlier (http://www.saturnfans.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1721638&postcount=19)
Probably the most amazing part, the sunroof works! :D

Re: Water on floors and in trunk
It's been a while since I pulled my headliner but it is definitely not glued on and I don't think there are any clips, either. IIRC, headliner is held up by the pillar molding (which are held in by...

Re: 0-20 Oil and Saturns
Buy a crapload of 0-20 5-quart jugs for $5
Sell each jug for $15 to friends and neighbors whose car uses 0w20, use the profit to buy the right oil. Problem solved :)
(or stock up on 0w20 for...

Re: Water on floors and in trunk
Only thing I can think of is that water is pooling in the "cubbies" in the trunk and slow-dripping to the rear carpet area.
I think that black piece in the trunk is a vent - when you close the...

Re: 1993 SC1 Relationship advice.
"worth it" is a pretty subjective decision. You've got some folks who will put $5,000 into a car to make it worth $2,000, but then again, it was the car their parents drove them home from the...

Re: Where and How to begin?
In the decade (!) or so that I've been on Saturnfans, I've never heard of a single case of a shifter cable snapping.
But I've seen dozens of times when the one of the clips came off under the...
