Re: Cyl 3 misfire at idle... couple dumb questions

Well, that's interesting! Even if 0 gains, it's good to know for replacement if S series coils become hard to find in the future. I've never had a coil issue, but it seems like s series in JYs are...

Have a bit more time now, cleaned up the image a bit to clarify, and show spark plug wire routing (1 & 4...

Re: Cyl 3 misfire at idle... couple dumb questions

Re: 96 SC2 bringing it back to life (slowly)

I had a few cars where the strip was chrome under black rubber/plastic.
Weird. The black rubber/plastic coating wore away, exposing the chrome.

Re: Getting back in a Saturn - 95 SL2 M/T

^ ^ ^ agree, rather buy from a buddy than a rando :)

The only MT issue I can think of off hand are the shifter bushing (if not replaced). Haven't heard of any of the aftermarket Delrin or...

Re: Million Miles?

Could be real.

Low Saturn posted a pic of a non-member's '95 SC2 odometer, about 5 years back, that showed 883k miles.

The dude changed his ATF every 10k miles - that's the kind of...

Re: 98 to 99 swap

Was hoping someone else would jump in (I have no experience). But it should be a straight swap.

You can keep the '99 auto PCM but that will keep the SES light on full time, with transmission...

Re: Getting back in a Saturn - 95 SL2 M/T

Rust would be the major concern - engine cradle behind the driver wheel (may need to remove splash shield / fender liner) and rear door sills. then again, if it's just for the winter, some rust is...

Re: getting a duplicate key made for 2001 Saturn SC2

What is a "dealer key" ?

Not sure what you mean by "dealer key"
If you either do not have a key for your car, or your key is extremely worn, the dealer can use the VIN to look up the pattern...

MMR = Mannheim Market Report. They track what the make/model /year sells at their auctions - this is what dealers are buying for at the auctions. Figure your dealer probably paid less than $450 for...

Re: 96 SC2 bringing it back to life (slowly)

Looking good!

I really should do something about how my car looks :)

Problem is, my car doesn't look too bad, does not look bad enough to motivate me to get off my butt.
