Re: 04 vue p0705

I agree with this one. Check your battery and alternator. I had a 94 Grand Am that showed bad speed sensors and ABS check engine lights. It turned out to be the alternator. Because the alternator...

Re: Ignition Cylinder

I took out and cleaned the ignition cylinder in my 2007. It did not require any reprogramming or anything.

A couple of thoughts. Mine was sticking and not always easy to remove. Cleaning it...

Re: Read!! '05 Red Line torque converter campaign update!!!

Do the documents you got from the dealer show what exactly was done? Is there a campaign number or a software update number of some type they refer to on the paperwork?

Re: How to lubricate strut mounts?

I used AT-205 Reseal on mine. Every few months I need to add a few drops but it does stop the squeeking.

Re: Ethanol Free Gas Test

That is my understanding also, the fuel system is stainless steal and the rubber and o-rings are different on e85 engines. E85 is 85% alcohol and 15% gasoline. I'm guessing that an engine designed...

Re: VUE V6 AWD I am hearing a steady humming from the rear of the car

I'm going to guess it's the fuel pump. I've read that a dirty fuel filter can sometimes cause the pump to make noise. You may want to have that changed first.

I had a Suburban that had a noisy...

Re: vue did not want to start; what could this be?:

I would say it's your battery. I could tell my engine was not cranking over as fast as it had been. A new battery solved the problem. If your 2004 has it's original battery it's time for a new one.
