Re: 02 KW300 v6 auto. Cradel swap- PS rack question

Nice job. I use Harbor Freight's Engine support rig on mine. But I've not done a 300 just the 4 cyl. I think it was $60.

Re: LW liftgate latch not working.

I've got one but they seldom can go past the dealership rules. I'm in asking stupid questions about Saturns all the time. They say "not you again". Even if they had any parts for them, I couldn't...

Re: LW liftgate latch not working.

What am I thinking. the key goes into the keylock assembly. The latch is separate. It operates with a braided wire like a bycicle brake. My key doesn't match anyway cause I already changed the lock...

Re: LW liftgate latch not working.

Good point, I never thought about keys. Door unlock at door switch and clicker work. Would be nice if we could get gm to loosen up about key codes. I could get the VIN, but I seldom have any luck...

Looks like we lost the OP, but I have a related question. Can these locks be fixed. My Bride's 03LW had the same problem. I did find one. ( Reasonable money because car was mismarked as an Astra? at...

Re: Tail light wire burned

That compliance list is probably still around somewhere, but why bother If it works. One I did was totaled by ins. Also blew air bag light for no apparent reason. I changed the module ,and flashed...

Re: 2001 Heater Core inside connection

I used a wire tie to secure the clip on My wife's 02 L200 Sedan. Seems to have worked but my helper had a front ender with the car, and I'm not thru repair so the trial period has been suspended.

Re: Tail light wire burned

Sorry to respond to an old post. You probably found out that this was a recall problem. Pretty sure I remember that. I used an 02 and that worked.

Re: wheel cylinder

P B, a small hammer, and a drift pin for access to the bleeder. Wacking it really works for me. Did I mention patience? Then a new bleeder screw so the next person in there will have better luck.

Re: Uh-oh! I can't shift out of Park!

MY wife's 03 LW200 is exhibiting the same symptoms. Nice to have a place to start on fixing it. She's so good at accessing the white cog, She'll probably keep trying to release it after I fix it.

Re: Head light and Radiator Support Replacement

That piece is spot welded on. take the fenders off and you'll see where it is joined to the body. Harbor freight sells drills that cuts just the welds off. Harvest that piece and do it again to the...

Re: What is the key to the problem?

Just an FYI, Tech Two s are around on E bay. I got mine for $450. I think it's Chinese but it works great. It'll do just about anything for our vintage cars, even program key fobs. Once you have a...

Re: Rear stabilizer links and trailing arm bushings

Look up SAAB bushing Tool in Ebay-UK. They show an incredible tool for bushing removal. The rear-end of the SAAB 9-5 is the same as our L Series. I got the tool and 2 each of the upper and lower...

Re: Turn signal randomly stops working on 2001 L200 2.2

Re: '96 sc2 sat for a few months, fuel pump not working.

Ground to the tank looks to be circuit 550, and terminates to the left of the left rear speaker. No access thru the trunk. looks like the rear cloth covering the speakers needs to be removed and its...

Re: '96 sc2 sat for a few months, fuel pump not working.

The fuel tank inline connector is in the trunk. Left side (driver's side) behind the insulating carpet. There is no ground there but the gray wire is the feed to the fuel pump. Purple and Black/white...

When you have the Valve body apart, be sure to check the connector plate.. The holes the plate has for connecting the solenoid can be checked with a drill bit (Size #41 I think. Look in the threads....

Re: 4-cylinder eco tech on 2009 Vue; timing belt or timing chain?

I've only done five but I haven't found a broken piston. Valves bent Yes, but not all of them. And my rebuilder believes the guides need to be carefully looked at. He believes the Ecotek is notorious...
