Re: 2007 AWD Vue: ABS dash warning light

You are absolutely right Chaz... Based on BobbyP's figures, if a standard pad has 11mm when new, and I drove to 3mm in 38,000 miles, then to get to the 1mm minimum for pad use I'd be able to go...

Re: 2007 AWD Vue: ABS dash warning light

I completely agree with you BobbyP. I typically buy my own pads and rotors aftermarket and give them to an installer to put on. Unfortunately, in this situation they had me on the lift with the...

Re: 2007 AWD Vue: ABS dash warning light

So Iím at the local Chevy dealer to fix my ABS problem. The dealer calls to inform me the ABS sensor and labor are under the 5 year power train warranty. However, the brakes are down to 3...

2007 AWD Vue: ABS dash warning light

My ABS indicator light went on this weekend, and I was hoping someone could tell me if this is a simple sensor replace (relay or some sort), or something I should consult a dealer about (by dealer I...

Re: Spotted a Vauxhaul in NJ

That's what I mean... The owner must have removed the Saturn emblems and replaced them with Vauxhall ones. Unless the owner imported the car from GB, they don't sell VH in US.

Spotted a Vauxhaul in NJ

I spotted this Astra in the parking lot at work today. We're in Livingston, NJ and I was amazed at what I saw.

The emblem was on the steering wheel too, but the wheel was on the left...

Re: VUe BULB sizes and replacement Guide!!

I just tried to replace my back up lights on my 2007 Vue, and it appears that the back up lights use the same double filament bulbs as the brake lights.

So for anyone with an 07 attempting to...

Re: Any opinions on the Kumho Solus KR21 Tires?

I just ordered a set of 4 yesterday. They are now running $418 for a set including shipping at tirerack. I don't know how you got someone to mount and balance these for you for $6.25 per tire, but...

Re: Charlie - You going to keep the Forum?

Saturn owners need this forum now more than ever. If not just to keep up to date with regard to the Saturn wind down, but to exchange information as dealers begin to close and we scramble for...

Re: Slight surges in RPM's

I've had the same surging issue you are describing on both my 2004 and 2007 AWD V6's. It seems to start manifesting at around 25,000 miles.

I haven't gone to the dealer for it, but I should since...

Re: Anyone using a 50W 885 bulb in their fogs?

I had the 885s for over a year, no overheating or melting problems what-so-ever. Great visibility, but got my fair share of highbeams by other drivers.

Re: Excellent mileage!!!

Just filled up last night... Got 330 out of the tank, and it took only 13.8 to fill up. So "theoretically" I could have gone another 48 miles!?!?

Hypermiling FTW!!!

That's pretty good for a non greenline!!! My girlfiend gets about 30 MPG with her greenline, but she drives like a maniac!!!

I've recently been practicing some "hypermiling" techniques on my 07...

Re: Extended Warranty Worth It???

You can buy an extended warranty contract up until the factory warranty expires (3yrs, 36000 miles). I typically wait to see if I bought myself a lemon before spending $1,700 on something I will...

Re: Tires - How long do you expect a set to last?

I selected 40,000 as my expectation, but that's only because at that range the OE tires become useless in the snow, and I can't have that with the hills I need to climb to get home!!!

However,...

Re: 07 Vue Trade In... I'm thinking about parting ways..

It seems as though the only way to get a decent trade in on a used Vue is to total it!!! :xeye: My 04 3.5 AWD was totaled back in the spring and the insurance company gave me over $16k for it...
