Well I purchased the sensor this morning then went ahead and replacing it which took about an hour and a half from start to finish. I went ahead and took the starter off to make it easier.

That pretty much answers all of my questions thanks so much for the in depth answer I REALLY appreciate it, especially for a laymen like myself.

Okay -- so I tried the removing the #1 and #4 plugs wires to see if there was spark between the terminals and I saw nothing. So its most likely a CPS failure which I have a few questions about.

Just an update, I was able to give the solenoid a good whack and the car started right up with no problem. So I will replacing the starter hopefully later this afternoon or tomorrow. Any tips on that...

It appears even if its not the starter its most likely the original and will need replacing soon anyway. I will go ahead and replace that if nothing else to elminate the starter if the problem...

I have tried starting in both Neutral and Park, no difference.

I also attempted to crank with my headlights on and they do not dim nor do any of the other lights.

A clicking noise when I crank? I do believe there is an initial click when I turn the key but its once and then nothing. So I should assume itís the starter?
