Re: Upgrading the stereo

Sounds like a fairly simple app to develop. If you give me a little bit to find some spare time, I could probably write a few lines of code that'll achieve what you want.

EDIT:

Re: Quick oil question

Yes, that's normal. It's air being displaced by the pistons and pushed into the crankcase. If it's loud and there's smoke coming out it's called engine blow-by (I think it's called that) and it's...

Re: SC1/2 vs SL1/2 vs SW1/2 for TCO

One of the greatest things with the s series saturns are the parts interchangeability. If you have a SL2 and a SC2 of the same year I believe that almost every part can be swapped between the two -...

Re: inside door lock switch

How's your ignition cylinder? You might want to check that out, because I believe the car doesn't let you lock the doors if the ignition isn't in the lock position.

Re: Amp Mounting and Vibration

In my 3dr coupe, I have it mounted to the floor of my trunk, right behind the driver side rear seat.

I did this just for the ease of access, open the third door, and pull down the seat and there...

Re: Anyone want to save a 99 homecoming?

Ouch, the leather is savable if you take it to a specialist, but that would cost a bit of $$$

Re: Innocent Saturn - Critical Condition

The one and only reply I'll put into this thread - as it's clear that Ohio's response was directed at me. It's short too.

Please do not direct any comment towards me that has the intent to be...

Re: Innocent Saturn - Critical Condition

Or a law against shooting innocent people? Sure he did have the gun in the car, and was the suspected gunman but what if he wasn't?

I thought in the states they followed the "innocent until proven...

Re: Lowering Ideas? Cut springs?

Save your money and do it right.

Or you know, just use spring compressors, it seems safe/legit and well within your budget.

Re: Mirrors

And I don't think I could stop myself from shoulder checking anyways.

Re: High idle at start or when put in park from gear and vibration

Try cleaning the entire TB assembly, Richpin has a video on it.

But - I'm almost 100% sure it's the TPS. With the scan tool connected and the idle is high, keep your foot off the pedal and if the...

Re: High idle at start or when put in park from gear and vibration

When the car is idling high, pop the hood and tap on the TPS. See if your idle changes. If it does you've found the problem and the TPS needs to be replaced.

Re: Water Leaking Into Car

I had this exact problem and I was baffled for awhile.
If it's coming into the passenger side, I'm almost certain that the issue is with a drain tube from the sunroof.

I fixed this almost 6...

Re: TPS - Different part between SOHC and DOHC?

I was just wondering, is there any specific difference between the 00+ TPS and the 98-99 TPS? Does either one gain or lose MPG/Power?

TPS - Different part between SOHC and DOHC?

I need to replace my TPS, and before I go and pick one up, is there a specific part # for a 2000 SC2? Or can I pull it off any 3rd gen s series?

Re: Bixenon projectors for both high and low beams?

I was told the halos would be a lighter blue, almost cyan, but I guess not. They look a lot more subtle in the day when I plan to use them. I did wish I ordered white after they were shipped.

No...
