the fact that you can go for a short while then stops indicates a plugged filter. be aware the sl's have 2 filters 1 spin on external filter. 1 internal filter only replaceable if the case is split...

po741 is an often misunderstood dtc...the term "stuck off" is not totally correct..it is stuck off due to the ecm or tcm in charge of tcc lock up making a decision that evan at 100% pwm on time it...

my 1t choice would be buy the updated cover&gasket.. or enlarge the inner pair of holes..not the outer1. the reason for this is you can get a p0171&p0174 lean codes a this is considered unmetered air...

actuly as designed the bank 2 next to radiator on sidewinders and drivers side on longitudal mout. is the fresh air intake for the pcv system..the bank 1 rear cover has the fixed orifice pcv...

as a dealer tech the issue is the tech2's mass storage card..i hold a limited amout of data/programing..so you can have version 33.004 north American operation loaded or Saturn/ astra.. some dealers...

for all thoses who are chalanged or don't want to bend their own..almost all larger city's have a local hose&fitting store/shop that sevices industrial/construction type hoses&pipes.we have one here...

well you guys went a long way.. so I will start as best I can...a war timming chain job pays the tec about 8hrs that's drop whole subframe with trans/tcase/engine this is only done for head or chains...

most likely a gen 2..if you have a high pressure fuel pump on bank 2's head the radiator side for sidewinders and drivers side for longitude mount..it's a gen 2 sidi

the real issue for bcm's is early models pre 07 were all different platforms..and all car lines have export/domestic and all older ones required the tec to program 1st then go in with the scan tool...

the real problem is that Saturn is a dead car line..most of the programming issues we face are current15/16 model year issues... also anything before 07 was a hodgepodge.some cars used pc to tec2...

if I haven't said this earlier..taat's are very hard to rebuild...not because of complexity...but due to several plastic cadged needle bearings being discontinued by gm,,and no aftermarket sources...
