Re: Just replaced rear shocks

Shocks bear no load, I find it extremely hard to believe your car was raised by three inches after the job! Three inches is a lot.

When a shock (damper) is stationary, most exhibit no rebound...

Re: My New Blue Dash LEDs! / Video@100mph

I can't believe this thread is still going strong!! I still get PMs and YouTube messages about how I did the dash bulb conversion to this day.

I miss my Vue

Re: early 2004 ecu's

Jesus christ! You've finally got what I wanted for YEARS!

Jealousy. I would've absolutely killed some people at the track with that ECU.

Re: Mid Grade Gas

There is no reason to change your oil after 6 months if the OLM doesn't light up.

Your oil doesn't age. Time is not going to matter at all. Go based on mileage, or the OLM.

If the "gel" you...

Re: 2007 vue v6 FWD transmission fluid

You're on! Especially if the car hasn't had the fill plug removed before, I hear it's a real bear to crack loose :D

Yeah the dipstick method is slow, but it'd be a close race I think :p

Re: It was a good run.....

Oh now that is just sick. I started laughing when I saw the first Sienna pic pop up - you WOULD get one! I would not be ashamed at all driving a new sienna sport.

Definitely a logical upgrade, and...

Re: New brakes!

Interesting!

It sounds like you've done everything else right as far as bedding them in properly and whatnot... but did you torque the wheel lugs equally when you installed the ATE's? It's a...

Re: 2007 vue v6 FWD transmission fluid

Blasphemy! We don't have a trans pan!

The fill plug is underneath the intake, somewhere below the throttlebody on the top of the transmission but, yes, it is MUCH easier to slide a tube on the...

Re: From a Top of the line Mini Van to a base Vue

This has to be one of the top 3 threads I've seen that strayed so far off topic I can't even tell what the thread was about in the first place.

Re: Vtec light?

I always liked this on the Celica GT-S where the gauge color changes when lift (VTEC) kicks in :)

I almost tried installing a VTEC light back on my...

Re: CAI for 2.2l ???

Depends on how much value you place on something like an intake. The car is still slow either way, but gains a tiny tiny bit of top end and a LOT more sound.

For $100 bucks, its a no brainer to...

Re: My New Blue Dash LEDs! / Video@100mph

Needles are red and are backlit by their own incandescent bulb in the cluster. As far as I know it can't be replaced without cracking it open, because I was never able to find the bulb responsible...

Re: MagnaFlow / BETTER sound - '06 Vue RL

Right, and I'm saying that 5.5 seconds to 60 is not possible in any variant of Vue ever created unless you're on nitrous.

Re: It may be lame but its a Mod dagnabit

I broke it all too, terrible design. The roof gives when you try to push up on everything, so you need to get it within the first few tries before it deforms :dizzy:

Re: MagnaFlow / BETTER sound - '06 Vue RL

0-60 is still around high 6, low 7 seconds with or without the intake. Mid sixes perhaps if you're lightened, intake, full exhaust, on stock 16's.

5.5, riiiight.
