Make it a learning experiance for yourself. Buy some sanding blocks and some primer then take it to maaco prepped and ready to be sprayed. save you some money in the long run

The plan is to cut the muffler out and replace it with a straight pipe and move the glasspack under the car. Yes technically it is a SRI, its one of those spectre build your own kits from O'Reilly's....

If you're doing 45 and under just roll the windows down. After 45 its more economical to turn the ac on. Mythbusters proved it :)

Battery was tested today...37%. So a new battery (Optima Yellow top maybe) and 125amp alternator are in my future

Oh no the amp is run directly off the battery, 8gauge on a 100amp VooDoo fuse I think, I'm just pulling to many amps after dark with my lights/heater on. I appreciate your help.

Alternator question.

I'm driving an '01 SL1, with two 12's running 1000watts. I've noticed my headlights dim a bit when I've got it cranked. Question is would a DOHC alternator have a higher output than the SOHC? If not...
