I know this is an old post but how did you determine this? Was it by just topping off the fluid and the beeping went away? Or was it scanned for error codes?

I ended up using silicon adhesive/sealant. I'll keep an eye on it and see what happens. My guess is this is happening to everyone with a Vue 3.6 liter, just they don't know it unless they remove the...

2008 Saturn Vue owner with 76,000 miles, my transmission just went out on me too, 3-5-R wave plate gone. Contacted GM after a week of phone tag they said they have no interest in helping with repair...
