Re: What battery to get?

I've been running a DieHard gold in mine. I agree with Low Saturn about the AC Delcrap. I've seen many of the with the Pos. post leaking and eating up the cable.

Re: Ticking noise

Does it make the ticking sound with the key on but the vehicle not running? If so, it could be a relay. My 99 SL2 had similar symptoms and after going nuts trying to find the noise it ended up...

Re: front speakers

You will have to remove the inner door panel to access the front speakers. The window handle does have a small clip. They make a special tool to remove which is available at any auto parts store. ...

What your looking for is the door check. Saturn has them for about 24 bucks. Just put door check in the key words search and it will pop right up.

I believe yours it like my 99 SL2. All you have to do is remove the screws that hold on the lens and you will be able to replace the bulb from there.

Re: Hardly any heat since ECT replaced

This very well could be the problem. Coolant will disapate heat quicker than water. You should be running about a 50/50 mixture.

Re: Odometer Light

There is a seperate bulb for the odometer. It doesn't involve taking the WHOLE dash apart just pulling the instrument cluster. It's not too difficult.

Re: Should GM Import the Opel Astra from Europe as Saturn's Next Small Car?

I am not a huge hatchback fan, but it's not completely ugly. It would be nice if they brought the design to the States and put some of the thousands of out of work auto workers back to works instead...

Re: unlock factory radio?

If you bought the car new, the code may be in the owners manual. You can also try looking in the glove box for a small sticker. Other that that the dealer can get it for you using the VIN and the...

The orange is a bit much for me. But that the best part of customizing your car, do it the way YOU like it.

Devil Re: New shoes!

I ran the Sumitomo Srixon 4's for about 50,000 miles and loved them. They gave good performance and handling and I drove them pretty hard. I had about another 10,00 on them when I replaced them. ...

Re: fuel pumps from autozone?

After working in auto repair for awhile now I have decided that the only fuel pump I'll pick up is from the dealer. Every time we bought an aftermarket we had nothing but problems.

Re: Tie rods need your thoughts

Based on what you said, it is hard to say if 1500 miles is early. The tie rods may have been slightly loose when the alignment was done. But, for anyone to say that a tie rod is "going to break any...

Re: tire size question

You'll happier with the 195/60 even with highway driving. The 65's are too tall they would rub and even lower your MPG. I'm running 195/60/15 on my 99 SL2 and they are great. I stepped into an H...
