Re: Does your Saturn feel more prone to side wind than other cars?

1.9 sohc -

I used to have a 1971 VW Karmann Ghia, and then a Datsun Honeybee. Those were leafs in the wind, so I don't notice it nearly as much in my SW2.

Hello -

I went with the engine rebuild at 275K miles. I needed a new clutch too, which makes sense since the last time the tranny was worked on was at 115K miles. Before/After pictures are here...

I wish I had your skillzz.

My mechanic told me he can fit me in for a rebuild in about 3 weeks. He assured me that my car is safe to drive in the meantime. It's pretty...

100% my fault for not dealing with it sooner.

I think it's light grey, even at idle. It's very obvious at night. I hope it's the stem seals. An engine rebuild is hard for me to ju$tify but stem seal repairs and a new cat is...

Re: What would the S-Series look like if GM would'nt have stopped making them?

Thanks for starting this thread. I wonder the same. I will assume that the 4th gen will be very similar to the 3rd gen, aka a VW Beetle incremental improvement approach.

Hello -

I wanted to wait until I had some more solid information before posting. The engine compression test came out ok, at least from what I have read :

Cylinder 1 = 215
Cylinder 2 = 215...

Ok. I have the brass coolant temp sensor since February 2007. Is that prone to failure as well, especially after 7 years?
