Re: outlook prices announced

Well, I was really not a fan of the minivan either but I could not argue with the logic. Simply put I spent less, got better gas mileage and better cargo. If I have to live with the minivan stigma...

Re: outlook prices announced

Is it not realistic to think that once you begin looking at an SUV of this size as a personnel carrier (ie. 4-5 people) you also begin to consider the capabilities of the minivan?

I'm not entirely...

Re: Some interesting editing going on here...

I think the thing that has to be remembered is that automobile manufacturers are hamstrung when it comes to reporting fuel estimates. They must follow the EPA guidelines and are only allowed to post...

Re: outlook prices announced

Well, I had been interested in the Outlook because we were going to need something bigger than the VUE.

In September I made the move to an 06 T&C Touring. It has triple zone climate, 6 disc DVD...

Re: New smaller Saturn coming!

Seriously, move the debate on foreign built cars to the Politics forum. I have plenty to say on the issue but not here.

I realize everyone loves to talk about upcoming cars but the sad fact of...

Re: Two Saturns Broken Into

It sucks and it's why I don't put anything expensive in my cars. Either that or you'd need to put a better alarm system on the vehicle I guess. Welcome to society... it sucks.

Sorry to hear...

Re: Annoying ads...

Ritz - Just a few points.

First, the rant on Intellitxt has been done, many times over.

Second, this is the VUE forum, your post does not reference the VUE in any possible way. Your post...

Re: Tranny Blew! Guy wants to trade this stuff for my car. Fair???

It's worth it if you gain value from the deal. If you can't fix the Saturn and you have a need for the items he's offering then go for it.

Re: Saturn's target costumers

It's good you feel that way. However the point is that if Saturn is on its way out why are there new vehicles being released?

Your opinion on the quality/value of the vehicle is, to a certain...

Re: AutoWeek reviews the Vue Green Line

Were they referring to city driving which is where a hybrid is only useful? I'm not sure what we get city miles on the VUE because it rarely ever deals with it but it's not going to be much lower...

Re: Saturn as the GM name badge for IndyCar

As though it was destined to be. On my way to the Saturn retailer last night to pick up our VUE I was followed by a Saturn Sky which had "Official Pace Car" on the windshield. Of course I think the...

Re: Thinking of purchasing a 2002

That's what I drive. I have 70,000+ miles on it and have had only a few issues. Recently I've replaced 3 of the 4 wheel bearings.. but I have an extended warranty.

Overall the VUE has been solid...

Re: Rant I sent to CAC

I'm not sure how you can rant against GM when you praise one of their products within the same post. It's kind of undermining your whole argument.

The simple fact is that some really odd things...

Re: Great customer service

Saturn of Rochester has always been great for me. I've never been able to complain about anything they've done (never had a need). They are everything you'd want out of an organization of ANY type....

Yea, that and it has to be the least intrusive test you can perform as well.

Good luck on the job.. sounds like something you want!

Re: a 2004 Saturn Vue that hit a utility pole.

Hope it was routine maintenance. Given today's litigious society your dealership might become party to a lawsuit.

Re: a 2004 Saturn Vue that hit a utility pole.

What Ken says is so true.

I would also state that part of the issue is that when assigning risk to a situation those with less to lose will assign a lower level of risk. Teens haven't come to the...

Re: a 2004 Saturn Vue that hit a utility pole.

Well, statistics have shown that the chance for an accident with a teenage driver increase exponentially as you increase the number of occupants in the car. They haven't learned how to have a...

Re: New Saturn SKY, AURA, VUE GL Television Ad

VTHokie- think about it. If one of those cars runs you over, how real do you think it would be? In the accident report it would state that you were hit by a Saturn Aura. That's pretty real.

We...

Re: New Saturn SKY, AURA, VUE GL Television Ad

It's a nice ad. Frankly I hate car ads that attempt to show a lifestyle that 90% of the target audience doesn't live or pounds out statistics as though they really mean anything.

It's like the...

Re: Thoughts on the upcoming Green Line Vue?

Wait.. it gets 26-29mpg? Is that city driving we are talking about? I haven't really looked at the stats on the GL.

My 03 FWD4 gets 29mpg routinely... it cost less than that. Of course it's...
