I concede that as long as the marks all line up you are good. I didn't try it without the pins because the manual said to use them. The pins were very easy to use. The cams were in the right spot...

I have no idea how good J & C Enterprises is, but another option is Pakes machine shop in Janesville, WI. I highly recommend them. The downside is the overall process will take longer.

My steel wheels are 15". I think 14" wheels were an SL or SL1 thing. I don't think any DOHC S Series had 14".

When your car got the engine swap, did it end up with a plastic or aluminum cover? If it is aluminum it is unlikely that is leaking.

I checked my tire pressures and found them ranging from 25 to 10 psi. I hate aluminum wheels and cold temps.

The backup lights never worked in my '98. If I short the conductors on the connector to the switch the lights go on. I got a new switch from Rock Auto. Should I get one from the junkyard?
