1993 SC2 Trip Odometer working intermittently

My 93 SC2 trip odometer recently began working intermittently. I think it is more an electrical disfunction and not mechanical. I can be driving along and it work fine then just stop. Sometimes while...

Steering column noise

Have a 2003 VUE AWD 3.0 V6. Recently developed a steering noise, seems to be coming from steering column, when turning the steering wheel. Sounds like a "grinding" noise. Especially noticible at low...

Re: 2003 AWD V6 vs. 2004 AWD V6

You are correct, torque steer exist in all FWD vehicles. I found it more prevalent in my VUE than previous FWD's owned including our L300. The VUE 5 speed auto transmission seems to be geared for...

Re: 2003 AWD V6 vs. 2004 AWD V6

I bought my 03 3.0 AWD new. It has just over 62,000 miles on it. I do not use it for towing. Overall happy with it. Had to replace the air intake monitor (I believe it is called that), as it was...

Re: A Letter from Jill Lajdziak to Saturn Owners Regarding GM

Yes, I received my letter last week. Own four Saturns and like a lot of people, had very good dealer experience which caused me to return. In fact, it was a bad experience in 2002 at a Chevy Dealer,...

Re: So now what?

Yes I agree. I was talking to my son about this the other day. Those of us who have polymer panel Saturns, as time goes on, it will be harder to obtain new body parts, should they be damaged beyond...

Re: Will Your Next New Car be a General Motors Vehicle?

Hard to say. I always bought American brand cars. Exception is my daughters Toyota. I always felt it was important to support American industry where ever possible. Anymore, many American brands are...

Re: 2000 ls?

If it has a V6 engine, it is a LS2. If it has a 4 cylinder engine it is a LS1.

Re: Saturn of Ventura Workers Heartbroken Brand May End

Since 2002, my family has purchased four cars from Saturn of Ventura up to 2007. Have not had the need for another car since. We knew Saturn built a good small car (S-Series), but felt it was too...

Re: First oil change. You gotta be kiddin' me!

I too drive my cars on ramps to change the oil. I agree that the oil filter placement on the S-Series engine could have been designed for easier access, but have seen worse. I too use the filter...

Re: OPINION Should I BUY THIS VUE

I recommend you stay away from the VTi transmission. Sooner or later it will fail.

I believe the 2005, 4 cylinders VUE's on up, have a standard 4 speed automatic. If you want a 4 cylinder VUE,...

The only recall...

Re: High Octane Gas

Have always put 87 octane in our 2002 L300. No problems whatsoever. MPG city is 18 + and Hwy 25+. In California, as of this writing, 87 octane averages $3.60 / gal. Don't want to by a higher octane...

Re: What makes a Saturn a Saturn?

I realize time change. What made origninally made Saturn unique was it was a different philosophy than any GM production model. It had its own factory, platform, drive train and dealers, and good...
