Emergency Mouse belt clips

For those cars that have the front shoulder belt Mouse belts, they are equipped with a little attachment that you can slide into place at the rear of the mouse track if the mouse belt isn't working....

Thanks guys. I had a small window of time today to have a look at this. I discovered that Advance Auto Parts has the replacement blower and my local Advance Auto Parts had it in stock. So I bought it...

In the under dash fuse box, the only fuse I saw that was labelled as relevant was a 15 amp HVAC fuse which appeared intact on visual inspection. I didn't see anything relevant in the fuse box under...

So... my heater fan stopped working. It seems everything else works.... I don't know if the fan is on its own fuse... is it?

I replaced it today with the pulley listed above from advance auto parts. What a difference! For a number of years when I started the car on the really cold day it made a sound like a power steering...

I meant the pulley itself. I t is making a noise... wobbles a little so the bearing must be shot... But yeah, I was thinking of replacing the whole thing.

Apparently, there's a Motion Industries in Somerville, which is close (my work takes me into Somerville daily).

I think my pulley is still ok, though I believe it's original (making it 25 years...

Well, as it turns out, it was the water pump. A much easier and cheaper fix. :-) It sure sounded like the noise was coming from the valve cover.

My 1993 SW2 is making a significant "whirring" noise under the valve cover. I'm suspecting the timing chain.... though I don't know why it would crap out at this time... car has 181K and...
