Re: 2004 Vue V-6 or Honda Pilot?

Vue04-

Obviously, this is only my opinion and we're talking about your money here, not mine. No flames, please.

I have owned a 2004 AWD V6 and a 2006 FWD V6. Traded the '04 in for the '06.

Re: New tires

XRL,

Had these tires installed on my FWD V6 Vue before trading it in. While it wasn't a RL, I did have the 18" rims on from a RL. The tires were great. Quiet on most road surfaces - and there are...

Re: Goodbye Forum

@adventureoflink - you are right, I can still stick around and peruse... ;-)

Yeah, AWD is a broad term used nowadays... I'd say AWD is just that, all wheel drive - all the time. Then there is 4WD...

Re: Towing Package

Thanks for the info guys. Decided against a Lambda and bought a Honda Ridgeline instead. 5000lb towing capability and all the towing gear included from the get go. Appreciate the help.

Re: Goodbye Forum

Yeah, it's on the cusp of being a truck though. It does all that a truck can do, with just a little less power - but it does drive better than the Vue I'm used to...

As for the towing, the...

Goodbye Forum

Traded the '06 Vue in today for a 2007 Honda Ridgeline. The Vue treated me well, with 44700 miles on the odo, she was NEVER in for any service. I did the tranny, oil, and filters and that's all the...

Re: Towing Package

Think I just found out a little on an Acadia forum... I assume it's the same for the Outlook?

Towing Package

Greetings all. I'm not used to this Outlook forum area - as you see I'm a Vue owner...

I am aware that the Outlook has a towing capacity is 2000/4500, but what I'm trying to determine is what all...

Re: It was a good run.....

Thanks b. When I was online, I thought the SE looked like it, but then you mentioned "sport model" and I thought it might be one of their packages added to say, and LE, SE, or limited, etc. Thanks!

Re: It was a good run.....

I have two little ones and I've been trying to talk my wife into a minivan for over a year now... She keeps saying that she doesn't want to be one of "those moms" and she's not old enough yet.

Re: will a 4 cylinder vue pull a tent trailer?

Sorry, can't comment on the 4 cyl.

I've got 2010 Coleman Westlake which weighs in at about 2155lbs. My Vue is a 2006 FWD V6. When I purchased my camper, I had a transmission cooler installed...

Sorry to keep bringing this topic back to the top, but I was finally able to get a good idea of how the transmission cooler performed on the highway.

Re: What is normal transmission fluid temperature?

Yeah, but take those numbers I gave you with a grain of salt... That was a short ride with me only in the vehicle. I've trailered my camper before and had the temp in the high 190's - maybe even...

Re: Hood scoop!!!

With all due respect - it's a no go for me.

If it were actually functional, that would be a different story. I just can't get into the "appliqués" applied to vehicles. Be it body kits, spoilers,...

Re: What is normal transmission fluid temperature?

I have a tranny cooler installed and have been monitoring temperature periodically. While I'd like to be able to say I know what it "usually" runs at, I don't. As you were saying - it really varies...

Re: Scanguage II enhanced Data - Trans Temp

Just got my SGII back. Wheee!

I just configured the ATF temperature as suggested. I plan on checking it shortly with a little trip. It's now about 85 degrees out and I want to compare the water...

Re: Michelin Primacy

I have the Primacy MXV4's on my '06 FWD V6. I do not have the RL model, but I do have a set of the RL 18's on my Vue. The size I have is 225/55-18 which is closest to my original OE 16" rim size and...

Re: Scanguage II enhanced Data - Trans Temp

Correction: I have a SGII without XGauge. I just sent my unit in the mail for them to upgrade. Hopefully it'll be back in two or so weeks.

Re: Scanguage II enhanced Data - Trans Temp

Think I found my problem... I think I have the old ScanGaugeII. I looked on their website and found that they have a SGII and a SGII w/ XGauge. I looked in my manual and saw that it says version 4.2...

Re: Scanguage II enhanced Data - Trans Temp

Okay, okay, okay... I'll ask. How the heck do you do this?

I have a SGII on my '06 and I'd love to have the tranny temp show up. Where do you have it displaying - in the overall gauge setting...

Re: 08 XR AWD Vue and real life towing experiences

Don't have a new model Vue - it's only a '06 V6 FWD. I pull a 2100Lb unloaded pop up camper. I've only pulled a couple of times so far and the Vue does a pretty good job. I'd say, loaded, the Vue has...
