Clone is being used for delivering pizza's for domino's during the week and raced on the weekends. It won't be used once the 93SC2 gets done. Hopefully it holds up.

200K again

The clone Just went over 200K saturday night. I let my room mate drive it , so sunday I treated it to a day of auto-cross racing.
Now all 3 of my vehicles have over 200K on them.

The crunch seems to be normal from the few autos I have had. Now the harsh 2-3 or 3-2 shift could be a valve body issue.
Remove the top cover , remove the top of the valve body , remove the shift...

I just refuse to have a manual tarns for a DD. I don't have anything agianst manuals , just not in my DD. Thats all. The clone is manual and would nto have it any other way.

Seen plenty of saturns with over 200K on them. I drive VERY hard. SO it's not surprising the auto's keep coming apart on me. I just refuse to have a 5 speed in my daily driver. I won't do it.

My 95SW2 finally rolled over the 200,000 mark. Thanks in part to Waterboy (Matt) for having welded my diff for my MP7 and DigitalDC89...

Do you have supertrapp (un)mufflers? Those have silencer discs that can be added and removed.
Show us a pic or link to what what you have on there now. We can point you in the right direction.

I fixed a 99 that several shops couldn't. Same thing. No chime = no start. WHen you heard the chime , you knew you had the connection back. Issue in the fuse block.

I got a COMPLETE 96 head with 122K on it. Came from and engine with a thrown rod. Head assembly is still good. Not cracked. I had it running all 3 cylinders.

Dutra , I live in harrison , right next to naples. Once I get off of 35 then it's a mostly flat roads. I have never been past augusta. I don't even know what bangor looks like.

99SL Stock tires with 35 psi , manual trans (mp2) , high flow filter and turbo muffler with manual steering = 43 highway in the sedan.

Typically a large leak. Time for the smoke machine. If I could get ti near one. I'll bring another gas cap with me when I go to change the front main seal that has miraculously started to leak badly....

The gas cap was loose. Defective driver. 17 year old girl. The EVAP fault is what took my off guard. I thought it would say leak small or large. Not just fault. But the code persists after tightening...

If you can't get the bolts out , I probably have a timing cover for sale. It will have 3 good studs and nuts in it. Good luck with getting the broken stud out though.

I just learned something new. I thought you had to change the entire assembly. I didn't know the cylinder came out of the housing like that. I thought you had to use a hammer and punch to break loose...
