Re: 2000 SC2 no start

I have 45 psi from the Shrader valve with the key in the on position. I have not bought a compression tester yet.

Re: Caliper bolt size

Thanks nuc. I was being incredibly lazy not wanting to jack it up, hoping there was a Saturn " Rainman " of bolt sizes.

Re: Caliper bolt size

I mean the rear caliper bracket to hub bolt. I know the socket size, I just need to know the bolt size so I can go buy new bolts from Fastenal. I can't find the info anywhere.

Re: 2000 SC2 no start

I have not done a compression test. There is spark on all 4 cylinders. I used the coil packs from my running SC2 as a test. No actual fuel pressure test, but there is fuel coming from the schrader...

2000 SC2 no start

So, I bought a 2000 SC2 about a month ago, the guy sold it because he couldn't get it running. I bought it thinking I know more than I actually do.

The car will crank, but not turn over. I've had...

Re: 2002 vue 3.0l no obd2 readings

I think no communication with OBD readers indicates a bad BCM. I have the same issue with mine. One of the tech savvy guys will weigh in soon.

Re: Vue Cluster, Mirror & 3D Badges for sale

There are 2 plastic " welds " on the back of the badges, you just cut them with a razor, and they come right apart. Very easy to do.

Re: Aesthetic mods

The badges replace the ones already on your car. Big one is the front, small ones are the fenders.

'02-'03 Vue's had black gauges, but no chrome trim. Just do the LED mod and call it a day. There...

Re: Vue Cluster, Mirror & 3D Badges for sale

I used the sunroof power, but you can use the dome light too. Just make sure it doesn't have constant power. The compass is built in, you just drive in a tight circle 3 times to calibrate. You will...

Re: FS-wrecked 01 SC2

The Thermal is much better than the OBX. This was on my old car, it sounded awesome. I just got another SC2, and might want this back...

Re: cheap place to get KYB GR-2's?

The code P20 is 20% off at Advance Auto. That usually gets you lower than Rock Auto, and you can pick up in store, no waiting for shipping. I think I ran 205/50/16 on my old car, but I will go wider...

Re: cheap place to get KYB GR-2's?

Go with H&R Sports. They are a 1.4" drop in the front, and 1.3" in the back, one of the best handling springs too. I had them with KYB's on my 01 for a few years, and loved the setup.
